~ Description from Ritual of the Night |
Vul'sha is an enemy in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
Vul'sha looks extremely similar to the Rul'sha, resembling a human female except for the large bat-like wings on her back. She has pale skin and brown hair, and wears a black leotard with thigh-high stockings and knee-high boots, all black with purple tints. Her belt appears to have a mouth-shaped buckle, and her whip has a purple handle with silver spikes.
Appearances[]
Ritual of the Night[]
Unlike the Rul'sha, who is not instantly hostile, the Vul'sha is, though she tends not to attack very quickly. Aside from a flaming whip attack, she can fire off the Tis Raiff spell, shooting beams of light at the player.
Classic II: Dominique's Curse[]
Vul'shas are among the "civilized" demons that inhabit the towns of Almadel and Notoria. Dominique Baldwin can speak to them for information or advice. During the Dead Moon, Vul'shas fly wildly around Dominique and shoot three purple fireballs at a time, which ignite upon contact with the ground.
Dialogue[]
The following quotes are spoken by different Vul'shas in Classic II: Dominique's Curse. Red text is presented as such by the True Sight.
- Almadel
- "A real shame, what happened to Lemegeton. Heard there wasn't a single demon left alive..." (followed by laughter)
- A single Merchant remains in Lemegeton and is open for business.
- Notoria
- "I heard a rumor the Merchant in this town used to be a Hunter. Maybe even Hunters settle down..." (followed by laughter)
- There are no confirmed cases of Hunter demons becoming proper Merchants. However, Hunters do move to towns after Dominique defeats them, and will subsequently trade Remains for Coin.
- "Clutch the Devil's Ring at the esteemed grave to open a path you can travel between dimensions..." (followed by laughter)
- A portal does open in Tartarus after Dominique crouches at the centermost tomb there with the Devil's Ring in her inventory. However, she has no opportunity to travel through the portal herself; it only serves to summon the Revenant miniboss.
Trivia[]
- Vul'shas are the only NPC type in Classic II: Dominique's Curse to always lie when spoken to. All other demon types are either consistently truthful or have a mixture of honest and dishonest members.
