- Voltic Chains is a homage to the skill Voltic Chains (localized as "Voltaic Chains") from Azure Striker Gunvolt, the flagship series of Inti Creates. The Japanese term for the series' 7th tier of psychic abilities is referred to as "Sevens" (localized as "Septima"), and Voltic Chains is the ultimate skill of the titular Azure Striker. The concept may have ultimately been dropped after Inti Creates was shifted from the developers of Ritual of the Night to Curse of the Moon.
- Interestingly, the current two most compatible hosts of the Azure Striker's abilities, Gunvolt and Blade, have blond hair and blue eyes. Prior to her crystal curse, Miriam also had blond hair and blue eyes.
