Volcano Morte is an enemy in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
A stronger variant of the Bone Morte, now with its body fully covered by lava and throwing damaging flaming bones instead. The Volcano Morte is composed of a Morte possessing the carcass of a human body, and was set ablaze due to drawing power from lava. Like the Bone Morte, the Volcano Morte can throw bones at the player, but instead of throwing a single one, it will throw two flaming bones at them.
Volcano Mortes are equally found on solid ground as well as pacing inside pools of lava in the Inferno Cave. It is this latter positioning which can make them very dangerous enemies, as they can hit the player in midair with their well aimed projectiles while the latter is struggling to jump along tiny platforms while also trying to fend off pesky Fire Elementals, and potentially make them fall into the lava for heavy damage.
Among its drops, the Volcano Morte drops the useful Flame Mail, the Body Armor that gives the highest STR boost in the game. A very easy to farm Volcano Morte appears right outside the entrance to the secret room that contains the Risk Ring on the bottom-right corner of the second lava pool of the Inferno Cave (found by breaking the wall).
