The Vampiric Choker is a Scarf in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. It is part of the paid DLC "Succubus Cosmetic Pack", available from Update v.1.5.
Description[]
The Vampiric Choker was included as part of the "Succubus Cosmetic Pack" in Update v.1.5 and is already found in the player's inventory from the beginning of the game. Wearing the Vampiric Choker will greatly increase the player's physical damage output by giving STR +6, although in exchange it will also greatly reduce their defensive stats, giving DEF 0 and CON -2. While the increase in power may sound tempting, it isn't recommended to wear it during standard level exploration, as the player is more open to random enemy attacks.
On the other hand, this lack of defenses can be counteracted to some extent by wearing the complete "Succubus" set (Vampiric Wig, Vampiric Skinsuit, Vampiric Wings and Vampiric Choker), which besides giving a secret additional LCK +10 bonus, it also gives STR +20, which is a huge physical power bonus.
Additionally, if the player is aiming to win Boss Medals, wearing the Vampiric Choker is an excellent option, as they will try not to get hit even once during these encounters anyway, and the added damage dealt will aid in defeating bosses faster.
Availability[]
- Galleon Minerva: The player starts with this item already in their inventory.[1]
Notes[]
- Wearing the Vampiric Choker along with the rest of the "Succubus" set (Vampiric Wig, Vampiric Skinsuit and Vampiric Wings) will make the HUD to produce a blood red aura adorned with constant lightning bolts, and Miriam's portrait will change to her Succubus persona.
