| ~ Description from Classic II: Dominique's Curse |
The Unholy Fire is a sub-weapon in Classic Mode and Classic II: Dominique's Curse, two sub-games in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. It is a flask that is thrown at the ground and shatters upon impact, creating a row of flames in front of the user. The weapon costs 3 MP to use.
Game specific information[]
Ritual of the Night[]
Classic Mode[]
The Bone Arc is one of the five sub-weapons that are available to Miriam.
Classic II: Dominique's Curse[]
The Unholy Fire is available to Dominique as a Conjure Shard. It is bought from the Merchant in Paulina for 70 Coins and works identically to its appearance in Classic Mode. Later on, to buy the Riga Dohin from the Merchant in Golgotha after summoning him with the Fancy Bag, Dominique must also give him an Unholy Fire in exchange. After the Riga Dohin is bought, it is possible to buy the Unholy Fire back from Golgotha's Merchant without giving up the Riga Dohin.
Near the end of the final area, the Pandemonium, there is a wall that, although the True Sight does not reveal anything about it, can be broken with Unholy Fire. This will open up a tunnel to a hidden room where IGA is found walking back and forth. Here, he acts as a friendly Merchant who can also give Dominique Coins in exchange for demon Remains.
Trivia[]
- This weapon is a reference to the Castlevania series's Holy Water, which works in almost exactly the same way. Also, the Unholy Fire's icon is identical to the Holy Water's from the main game of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, although in Bloodstained, Holy Water is a consumable item as opposed to a weapon.
