The True Sight is a Passive Shard in Classic II: Dominique's Curse.
Description[]
The True Sight reveals many kinds of deception and falsehoods. This has various uses, including:
- Highlighting the false parts of dialogue with characters who are lying.
- Revealing fake blocks in the environment (blocks that Dominique will fall through).
- Highlighting blocks that are breakable with the Block Breaker.
The most important effect of this Shard, and the only one necessary for progression, is revealing the true nature of the Megiddo Wastes and the Fallen City. Without the True Sight, both of these areas appear to be sandy ruins. The True Sight reveals that both of them are actually flooded with water, and accordingly changes the name of the Megiddo Wastes to Megiddo Depths. With this revelation, more of the Fallen City becomes open for exploration and the Lethe Cavern becomes accessible through the water in the Megiddo Depths. The watery appearance of these areas persists even when the True Sight is unequipped.

Trivia[]
- The True Sight is similar to Dracula's Eyeball from Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, though the former's use is much broader.
