A Treasure Chest is a type of container featured in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
A Treasure Chest is a box with an attached lid that contains an item(s) for the player to collect. These items can vary between many types, including weapons, all types of armor pieces, accessories, materials, ingredients, already prepared foods, etc. Treasure Chests are always found in fixed locations, with some capable of being refilled with new items whenever the area they appear in is loaded.
Types of Treasure Chests[]
There are five types of Treasure Chests in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night:
- Wooden Chest: Contains a one-time drop fixed item. This item is generally a basic consumable (Potion, Ether, Mithridate, Waystone, etc.). Wooden Chests more prominently appear in the early areas of the game or an area to supply the player with basic resources to help them survive nearby situations.
- Green Treasure Chest: Contains a one-time drop fixed item. This item is often unique and may not be attainable elsewhere, or only by more laborious means like crafting.
- Red Treasure Chest: Contains a one-time drop fixed amount of Gold.
- Golden Chest: Contains a one-time drop Key Item required for further progression of the game. Only one Golden Chest appears in the entire game, in the Towers of Twin Dragons, which contains the Silver Bromide.
- Blue Treasure Chest: Contains either one or a set of random items exclusively pertaining to the area it is encountered in, or a fixed amount of Gold respective to that area. They close again and are refilled with new random items every time the area is loaded.
Notes[]
- In the Galleon Minerva, in the long horizontal room with the second cannon (ignited with Flame Cannon), there is a special (respawning) blue chest with a fixed drop of Corn Seed ×1, Rice Seed ×1, Potato Seed ×1.
