Todd is a non-playable character in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. He is a friendly Killer Barber who was turned into a demon by a cursed pair of scissors and now resides in the Dian Cécht Cathedral. He offers character customization to the player.
He was voiced by Ray Chase in the English version of the game.
History[]
According to Todd, he was once a human but was transformed into a Killer Barber once he touched a pair of cursed scissors. He states that there is only one way to break the curse, and that is to create six hundred and sixty-six unique kinds of hairstyles. Upon Miriam asking why he can't just cut a few pieces off at a time, Todd specifies he can't be lazy with his hairstyles, or his scissors may cut off the head of whoever he is working with. Thus, he offers to style Miriam's hair for free so he can eventually break his curse.

Todd provides customization options for the player. Despite being a barber, Todd offers customizations in more than just hairstyle and color, and can change Miriam's skin and eye color, along with the primary and secondary colors of her outfit. More hairstyles are unlocked as the player collects Hair Apparents from chests or quests.
The same free Update that added Boss Revenge Mode also expanded Todd's services, adding a Chroma Wheel that allows a greater choice for Miriam's Hair Color, Sub Hair Color (a newly introduced option), Costume main color, Costume sub color, Skin color, Eye Color, and Scarf Color and Scarf Highlights for the Order-made Scarf. Lip Color and Eye Shadow were also added with a different update.

- Todd also allows the player to customize the colors of the Order-made Scarf. By equipping this Scarf and sitting in his chair, a couple of new options will then appear at the bottom of the "Hair Salon" menu: "Scarf Color" and "Scarf Highlights", both in which the player can change the scarf's colors to their liking.

- This character is inspired by Sweeney Todd, the main antagonist from the 1846-47 penny dreadful serial The String of Pearls. Sweeney Todd was a barber who dispatched his victims by pulling a lever as they sat in his barber chair to later scavenge and profit from their bodies.
- While Todd states he needs to cut 666 hairstyles to lift his curse, this is neither possible to do in the game (as there are just few hairstyles that can be selected), nor is it known if anything happens if he performs 666 character customizations. However, the topic about his curse was likely just added to flavor his story.
- The number 666 is a reference to the "number of the beast" from the Book of Revelation.
