Summon Bat is a Conjure Shard in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
Miriam summons Bats that fly forward damaging any enemies they touch. Depending on the rank of the shard, the Bats can last from 2 seconds to 10 seconds. The player cannot control the flight path of the Bat other than the general direction. Increasing the Rank of this Shard increases the number of Bats summoned and their size. Costs 40 MP.
Availability[]
Summon Bat, as well as Bone Toss, are among the shards you are most likely to get up to nine copies of, even if you are not necessarily hunting for shards in your playthrough. In addition to bats appearing in large numbers and in multiple areas in several zones, a Bat and a Bone Morte will always be within striking distance every time you leave the main hub at Arvantville and jump up to the Warp Room above it. Because Gold is so scarce at the early stages of the game, you can sell copies of both shards for 300G each without feeling like you are giving up valuable shard grades that normally require a lot more grinding on other enemies to earn back.
Enhancements[]
Rank: Increases the number of projectiles cast at once.
- Rank 2, 3, 4 (Small Webbing ×1)
- Rank 5, 6, 7 (Bat Fang ×1)
- Rank 8, 9 (Demon Fang ×1)
Tips on gathering materials[]
- Small Webbing: Drops from Bat (15%) in many places throughout Arvantville, Entrance, and Forbidden Underground Waterway.
- Bat Fang: Bat drops this as well (5%).
- Demon Fang: Drops from Archdemon (10%) at Hall of Termination (including just outside its west entrance at upper Dian Cécht Cathedral) and the later, western portion of Forbidden Underground Waterway. Later drops from Rocky (8%) in Hidden Desert. Finally drops from Giant Bat (12%) in Den of Behemoths near the end of the game.
