| ~ Loading tip from Ritual of the Night |
Slow is a damage type featured in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. It momentarily reduces the player's movement speed.
Description[]
Certain enemies in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night have the ability to inflict the Slow status on the player, generally through the use of Lethargy, like the Amy. When the player has contracted the Slow status, their character model will acquire a silver-like appearance and outline, and their movement speed will get greatly reduced for a short period of time – not just their attacks and running speed, but also their displacement in midair (e.g.: while jumping or dropping from a ledge). Being put in this state can turn dangerous, as the player will suddenly be at the mercy of any surrounding enemies without being able to react in time and effectively retaliate or employ evading maneuvers. The playable characters Miriam and Aurora can inflict the Slow status on enemies through Death Cry.
Treatments[]
- The most basic method to cure Slow is just to wait until the effect wears off by itself, which happens after a few seconds.
- Resting at a Save Room will instantly cure the Slow status.
