Silent Howling is a music theme composed by Ryusuke Fujioka for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. It is the background theme that plays during the boss battles against Gremory, Orlok Dracule, and IGA. It also plays during the battle against Miriam in Boss Revenge Mode. A chiptune version, titled Silent Howling (8-Bit), plays during the battle against the Eight Bit Overlord in the main game, the final battle against Dominique in Classic Mode, and when Miriam defeats Dominique and Bael in the opening cutscene of Classic II: Dominique's Curse.
It is notably played during the Nintendo Switch gameplay trailer that was launched on February 13, 2019. Another 8-bit arrangement of this track, called "Moonlight Judgement", is used for the final battle against Gremory in Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon.
