The Shield is a Passive Shard in Classic II: Dominique's Curse.
Description[]
This Shard creates a magic shield in front of Dominique that blocks enemy projectiles. It does not protect from melee attacks nor environmental hazards. It can block up to two projectiles before breaking, after which Dominique is left unprotected for ten seconds before the Shield reforms. The Shield also disappears briefly when Dominique is attacking, backstepping, dashing, using Summon Circle, or performing a Dive Kick, and during her invincibility frames after taking damage.
