The Sharp Razor is a Material in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Description[]

The Killer Barbers found in the lower portions of Dian Cécht Cathedral drop Sharp Razors at a high 10% base rate, meaning you will likely get a fair stockpile if you are farming them for their Dagger Expertise passive shard and the Rhava Búral.

Despite this, the function of Sharp Razor as a material is very niche: Once you reach the east end of Garden of Silence, you can explore the ultimately optional east region of the Forbidden Underground Waterway, where you can get the local Decarabias to drop the directional shard Circular Ripper. Enhancing it up to rank 4 increases the size of the wheel and takes three Sharp Razors, and enhancing it further to rank 7 takes another three Sharp Razors and three Mithril, a midgame-tier material that can drop from Axe Outsiders that can be first fought in a room in the Entrance that can be reached with Double Jump's dive kick attack. The final two ranks of Circular Ripper take two Sharp Razors and two Crimsonites from the late-game Oriental Sorcery Lab, either found within blue chests or dropped by Ninjas.

If you have the "Succubus Cosmetic Pack" DLC installed, you can also spend three Sharp Razors and three Monster Bloods (dropped by the Simian that first appears in eastern Garden of Silence) to advance through the middle ranks of the Dream Steal conjure shard, thus enhancing the recovery amount.

By the end of the game, an endgame-tier recipe (unlocked by collecting Legendary Equipment/R in Hall of Termination with the help of Invert/High Jump) lets you craft the Rhava Velar, an upgrade the Rhava Búral. You will need to farm the Killer Barber for four Rhava Búrals, which means you will unavoidably amass the four Sharp Razors the recipe also calls for, and you will also need to get another one of the aforementioned Crimsonites. The real obstacle to overcome when crafting it is that you will need an Imbrued Fang, which is typically dropped by the Millionaire's Bane "boss-like enemy" (12%) at the Hall of Termination, in a room that requires the Millionaire's Key found in the Den of Behemoths to access. It can also be randomly found in blue chests in The Tunnels (a secret area accessed from Hidden Desert after entering the Den of Behemoths once), and you can dismantle a purchased duplicate of the Blue Rose or Eternal Blue for an Imbrued Fang as well.
