| ~ Description from Ritual of the Night |
Seeker is an enemy in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
A giant yellow eye engulfed in equally yellow fumes. It mainly moves along the surfaces of the room it spawns in, equally moving along its floor, walls and ceiling. If it detects the player right below or above it, it will either drop from the ceiling or launch to it in an attempt to hit them. The Seeker may petrify the player on contact.
It drops the valuable Detective's Eye Passive Shard, which generates a circular field around Miriam within which all nearby breakable walls are revealed. This shard is also very easy to fully enhance and turn it into a Skill Shard, which besides granting the aforementioned ability to see breakable walls, will also automatically collect all items inside the field. Furthermore, for each Detective's Eye shard absorbed, the circular field will become larger and cover more area (up to Grade 9), so it is well worth taking a moment to farm Seekers until nine shards have been collected.
The first room where Seekers can be found is by going down the fountain in the Entrance (Blood Steal required) to the Forbidden Underground Waterway; at the branching paths at the bottom of the first vertical room with the Save Room, head left to another vertical room inhabited by Seekers among other enemies.
