~ Description from Ritual of the Night |
Seama is an enemy in the Bloodstained series.
Description[]
Seamas are slimy tentacled creatures that resembles an octopus, with a main tentacle making for its body and smaller ones that make for the arms. They have sharp teeth.
At one point while exploring the Galleon Minerva, Vepar can be seen breaking a hole on the ship's hull and spewing three energy balls inside which then transform into three Seamas, hinting these creatures to be her progeny.

Trivia[]
- Seama is very similar in appearance to the Wo-Class enemy from the Kantai Collection series. This may be deliberate as Wo-Class is the spirit of a sunken ship and Seama appears in sunken ships in both the demo and Curse of the Moon.
- A Seama is the first enemy encountered in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night; it attacks in the first room during the tutorial with Johannes. Upon killing it, it will yield the first shard in the game.
- This scene emulates similar introductory scenes in the Castlevania series, such as those in Aria of Sorrow, Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Ecclesia, where enemies suddenly interrupt during the tutorial and have a guaranteed drop of their abilities upon killing them.
