The Seafood Curry is a Food item in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Availability[]
Seafood Curry is prepared through Johannes' alchemy menu in Arvantville, requiring Curry Sauce ×1, Rice ×1, and Forneus Filet ×1 as well as Curry Dish/R, which can be found at the top northwest corner of the waterfall room in Forbidden Underground Waterway (requires Double Jump to clear the gap from right to left). After Seafood Curry is first prepared, it will be sold at Dominique's supply post for 1,450G.
Forneus Filet is dropped by Forneus swimming in the Forbidden Underground Waterway; any items they drop can only be reached when you at least have the Aqua Stream shard, making this the only Curry Dish/R recipe that can only be reached some time after the recipe book can be first gotten. Rice is grown with Harry using a planted Rice Seed.
The "main" ingredient, the Curry Sauce, is crafted out of four ingredients of its own: Moco Leek ×1 and Moco Oil ×1, both of which are commonly dropped by Moco Weed early in the Garden of Silence; 1 Halite bought for super-cheap at the store; and most significantly, Curry Powder ×1. This is dropped by Ordog in the lower, earlier portion of Dian Cécht Cathedral (right next to the warp room), though it drops at a rather rare 3% base chase (to improve the drop rate, you can collect the first Plunderer's Ring at Galleon Minerva once you get Double Jump, a skill shard you will need anyway to get the Curry Dish recipe book).
When you get Double Jump and are first able to collect Curry/R in the room adjacent to the top edge of the waterfall room, the other green chest just in front of it contains a free Curry Powder. Curry Powder can more easily be found as random rewards in blue chests in the Underground Sorcery Lab halfway through the game and in Inferno Cave about 75% through the game.
Usage[]
Seafood Curry is a food consumable, restoring 362 HP whenever used and giving a permanent bonus of +50 Max HP and a surprisingly high +8 INT when first eaten. It costs and restores 45% more than the High Potion, and because it is a meal, up to 99 of it can be carried at a time.
Since this meal can only be crafted by the time you are exploring the later regions of the Forbidden Underground Waterway, you cannot craft it as soon as you can find the Curry Dish/R with the Double Jump, unlike the other three Curry-series meals that the recipe book unlocks (the Curry & Rice, Pork Curry, and Chicken Curry).
