| ~ Description from Ritual of the Night |
Scylla is an enemy in the Bloodstained series.
Appearances[]
Ritual of the Night[]
Scylla resembles a giant sea clam, and appropriately, it is only encountered submerged at the bottom of deep flooded areas in the Forbidden Underground Waterway. It initially remains stationary and closed, and its shell is so hard that it makes this enemy totally impervious to attack while in this state. After a while, however, the shell will open, revealing the unnerving visage of a woman's face and torso inside, and it will then start closing and opening its shell as a manner of a chomping mouth, lunging toward the player with each chomp. It is also only at this moment when the monster becomes vulnerable to attack.
Among its drops is the Clam, an ingredient that is rarely used to prepare a couple of powerful Food dishes.

Trivia[]
- The inclusion of this enemy in the game was possibly inspired on the Scylla enemy character from the Castlevania franchise.
