Saori Gotō (後藤 沙緒里 Gotō Saori) (born January 8, 1987) is a Japanese voice actress and singer currently affiliated with Across Entertainment.
She voiced Gremory and Bloodless in the Japanese version of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.[1]
Career[]
As a young girl, Saori Gotō dreamed of working in a profession that involved caring for animals and plants, and even becoming a Shinto priest. In junior high school, she joined the drama club.
In 2002, while in high school, she applied for the audition for Broccoli's project unit GGF. She passed the audition for the second round of the group. She made her debut. While still a member of GGF, she formed the group "airyth" with Yuka Iguchi.
In 2003, she was selected to play the role of Karasuma Chitose, a new character in Galaxy Angel, and attracted attention. After that, she became a personality on the radio program Angel LOVE and the TV program GATV as part of the Angel Corps.
In January 2005, she was hospitalized due to poor health, and was absent from the Valentine Concert 2005 and the GA Musical. In May of the same year, she graduated from GGF. After graduation, she left Broccoli and joined the newly established agency g-stella. On January 8, 2007, she joined 81 Produce.
On April 16, 2010, she opened an official blog on GREE, but closed it after the last update on November 15 of the following year. On February 18, 2013, she resumed her official blog on Ameba Blog.
On October 31, 2014, she left 81 Produce and became a freelancer.
On August 1, 2020, she announced on her blog and Instagram that she would be joining Toy's Factory.
On August 31, 2022, she announced that she had left her agency, Toy's Factory, and would be working as a freelancer on her own X account.
In June 2023, she joined Across Entertainment.
