The Salt Ramen is a Food item in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Availability[]

Salt Ramen is prepared through Johannes' alchemy menu in Arvantville, requiring Chinese Noodles ×1, Salt Broth ×1, Dragon Egg ×1, and Fell Leaf ×1 and also requiring Ramen/R to have been collected from Oriental Sorcery Lab very late in the game. After Salt Ramen is first prepared, it will be sold at Dominique's supply post for 1,680G.

Dragon Eggs fittingly drop from Dragons (and Abyssal Guardians) that first appear in later Livre Ex Machina, and Fell Leaf drops from Giant Moco in the Den of Behemoths reached after when Ramen/R can be first found. Chinese Noodles are bought for 200G after crafting them from a store-bought Flour and Baking Soda each.

Salt Broth (which is only used in this recipe) is a 1,200G ingredient that first appears in the shop after crafting that through its own set of ingredients: Halite ×1 and one each from Clam, Forneus Filet, and Aquatic Filet, all respectively dropped by Scylla, Forneus, and Deeseama swimming in the Forbidden Underground Waterway's later reaches.

Usage[]

Salt Ramen is a food consumable, restoring 420 HP whenever used and giving a permanent bonus of +20 Max MP, +2 INT, and +2 MND when first eaten. It is 68% as expensive and potent as the High Potion, and up to 99 of it can be carried at a time.

The involvement of a Fell Leaf in the ingredients would seem to restrict this food to practically the end of the game, but a Fell Leaf can also be acquired by Dismantling a Dark Matter for 9 Alkahests. This means this meal can be eaten as soon as Ramen/R is picked up, allowing its bonuses to be added in time for the boss rematch that takes place in Oriental Sorcery Lab.
