Availability[]
- Galleon Minerva: The player starts with this item already in their inventory.[1]
Enhancements[]
Rank: Increases coverage.
- Rank 2, 3, 4 (Toad Eye ×1)
- Rank 5, 6, 7 (Gargoyle Stone ×1, Poison ×1)
- Rank 8, 9 (Dark Matter ×1, Fiend Eye ×1)
Tips on gathering materials[]
- Toad Eye: Drops from Toad (8%) found in later Garden of Silence and then the east portion of Forbidden Underground Waterway.
- Gargoyle Stone: Drops from Gargoyle in early Dian Cécht Cathedral and later Garden of Silence.
- Poison: Drops directly from Poison Toads (5%), in the upper exterior screen of the west of the Towers of Twin Dragons, as well as in Underground Sorcery Lab and Hidden Desert. You can also craft it out of a Monster Bird Tear, which drops from Aello (8%) in Galleon Minerva and much later drops from Ocypete (15%) in upper Dian Cécht Cathedral, and a Vespine Stinger that drops from the Sidhe (8%) in the Underground Sorcery Lab. Alternatively, you can get the Blood Bug in Inferno Cave to drop a Poison Kukri (4%) and Dismantle that for 6 Alkahests into two Poisons (and one Kukri). Any of these methods are far preferable to paying an exorbitant 2,000G to buy a Poison at the supply post.
- Fiend Eye: Drops from Tracer (5%) found only in the Glacial Tomb at the end of the game.
- Dark Matter: Preparing this 1,300G food recipe involves gathering the easy materials Rat Tail, Toad Eye, and Witch's Tears, but also a Fell Leaf dropped by a Giant Moco (8%) in Den of Behemoths. Meanwhile, the Dark Elemental in Secret Sorcery Lab drops it at a 1% base rate. Far easier (and earlier) than either of these methods is to dismantle a piece of Gold material for 15 Alkahests, which will get you 10 Dark Matter.
- Gold: Found in blue chests in Hidden Desert; an extra-fast endgame method involving the Accelerator shard lets you repeatedly open the blue chest right next to the portal stone leading to The Tunnels that opens up once you have entered the Den of Behemoths for the first time.
Notes[]
- This Shard can neither be sold nor can it be disposed of in any way, meaning it is mandatory to keep it for the rest of the game.
