The Safe Ring is an Accessory in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
The Safe Ring is one of the first Accessories the player will find in the game; one is hidden behind a breakable wall in the first stage, Galleon Minerva. Wearing it gives a good protection of DEF +15, which is remarkable at that point in the game, effectively making the player more resilient in battle. Unfortunately, the ring also gives a big penalty of ATK -10, greatly reducing their damage output. In practice, while the player will become able to withstand more damage while wearing this ring, it will also usually allow enemies to survive their attacks more often, which in some situations may actually turn counterproductive, as then they will have more opportunities to strike at the player.
Still, if the player is struggling for sustaining big amounts of damage (which could even be due to wearing gear that reduce DEF), then the Safe Ring could be an option to alleviate this to some degree.
