Ryusuke Fujioka (藤岡 竜輔 Fujioka Ryusuke?) is a Japanese composer currently affiliated with noisycroak. His musical expertise includes a focus on folk and traditional music, and he is skilled in playing over a dozen different instruments.

He composed many of the themes featured in the soundtrack of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (alongside Michiru Yamane and other composers).

Career[]

Ryusuke Fujioka started playing the violin as a child, and started to play the guitar in junior high school. After graduating from high school, he studied at the University of Strasbourg in France, where he studied linguistics, history, and anthropology. Due to his upbringing and study abroad experience, he speaks various languages fluently: Japanese, English, French, and Spanish, as well as Galician, Asturian, Catalan, and other languages for daily conversation.

During his studies, he became interested in folk and traditional music, and later taught himself to play various instruments. He started composing music at the same time, and after working as a freelance composer, he joined noisycroak in January 2016.

  • Fujioka is multilingual, with proficiency in Japanese, English, French, and Spanish. In addition to his musical pursuits, he continues to work on his language skills.
