Regenerate is a Passive Shard in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Description[]

Regenerate provides a weaker passive version of the effect of the Manipulative Shard it is created from, for no MP cost. Increasing the Shard's Grade will increase the amount of health restored per time interval, but the maximum is a mere 5 HP compared to the 15 from Healing, meaning it is only really useful for topping up HP while exploring rather than recovering from major damage. As with all crafted Shards, increasing Grade requires the player to craft more copies of the Shard. Since the components are all fairly mundane, it is not particularly difficult to accomplish this.

Increasing its Rank will increase the frequency of healing, maxing out at one instance per second. The upgrades require the various types of Potion, with the first three using basic Potions, the next three requiring High Potions, and the final two Ex Potions. This does require a fair bit of grinding, and that the player has retrieved the Ultimate Healing Item/R crafting recipe from the Hall of Termination.

While Regenerate is equipped as either a Passive or Skill Shard, a cloud of green sparkling particles will surround Miriam's body.

Availability[]

Regenerate is a crafted Shard which does not drop from any enemy. It instead becomes available to craft once the player has at least one of the Healing Manipulative Shards in their inventory (drops from Sidhe in Underground Sorcery Lab). Crafting a Regenerate requires the player to own a Healing shard and uses one High Potion, one Faerie Wing (drops from Sidhe), and one Demon Tail (drops from Archdemons). As with all crafted Shards, crafting it does not expend the Healing, only the other materials.
