Randomizer Mode is an Extra Mode featured in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night where the player is given options to randomize diverse aspects of the game, making each playthrough unique.
Description[]
In Randomizer Mode, a special "Generate Seed" screen appears at the beginning where the player can change several aspects of the game, making each playthrough unique. These changes range from changing the main objective of the game, shuffling the locations of various types of items, mixing the locations of Save Rooms and Warp Rooms, changing the items dropped by enemies, and many more. These changes often result in the player finding advanced and very powerful weapons and armors early in the game, and vice versa.
Like in other Extra Modes, a blue timer appears at the bottom-left corner of the screen that keeps track of the time taken to complete the game, as well as a yellow timer below it that displays the target Best Time recorded. All cutscenes are removed in this mode to prevent wasting any time and keep the fluidity of the game (animations when leveling up, absorbing Shards for the first time, or collecting HP Max Up, MP Max Up or Capacity upgrades will still play). This includes all cutscenes when first reaching Arvantville, meaning that all NPC villagers are already in the positions and ready to be interacted with from the beginning. Dominique is absent from the supply post and instead Anne manages the store, thus removing all possible conversations that would have taken place with the former.
