The Queen's Tail is a Material in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Description[]

The Queen's Tail has limited uses, all of which are available as soon as you get it to drop from the Lamashtus located inside the Secret Sorcery Lab. The Bunnymorphosis manipulative shard, which can be dropped by the Lili as of the west station of Bridge of Evil and enhanced up to Rank 7 right then and there using the Lili Ears and Lili Tails the Lili also drops, progresses through its final two ranks by using two Queen's Tails total. These ranks allow more possible actions while in the transformed state.

The Familiar: Carabosse shard can be dropped by the Carabosse enemies found even earlier in the Garden of Silence and can be enhanced to Rank 4 using its own dropped Faerie Dust, and its Sidhe cousin in the Underground Sorcery Lab drops the Faerie Wings additionaly needed to elevate its rank to 7. Two Queen's Tails allow this shard to progress to Rank 9 as well, which results in a "more powerful familiar."

Finally, the Beast Killer, a much stronger whip than any other whip available up to that point (besides the prohibitively expensive 32-bit Coin version of Ambivalence), can be crafted using three Queen's Tails, two Slimy Leathers (dropped by the earlier Deeseama in Forbidden Underground Waterway), and three Demon Pelts (dropped by the Macaron in both that zone and the aforementioned underground lab). The recipe is unlocked via Very Fine Equipment/R from upper Dian Cécht Cathedral. Ideally, even though this can be upgraded into the Albireo, you should never go out of your way to craft this because the Lamashtu itself has a 4% chance to drop a completed Beast Killer entirely for free, meaning it should be straightforward getting a Beast Killer for your own use. Crafting everything in the game will require over a dozen Demon Pelts, so multiple Beast Killers can be dismantled for the sake of getting those even as you farm Lamashtu for its other drops (like the Whip Expertise shard).
