~ Description from Ritual of the Night |
The Puppy is an enemy in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
The Puppy is a large, disembodied head of a dog with white fur, a black nose, and black eyes, closely resembling a West Highland White Terrier. The Puppy is tied to a certain area by a large stake and chain. Other than its size and lack of body, the Puppy has an otherwise normal appearance for a dog.
Initially, the Puppy will be restricted to a certain area by a stake and chain, and will not be able to reach the player if they stand outside of its range. However, after a few of the Puppy's attacks, the stake will knock over, allowing the Puppy to roam freely. Lacking anyway limbs, the Puppy's only attack is a multi-part lunge, it which it will take multiple bites at the player. Once it is defeated, it will erupt in flames, but these do not damage the player.
