A slice of pork that has been breaded and fried for a crispy outside.

The Pork Cutlet is a Food item in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Availability[]

Pork Cutlet is prepared through Johannes' alchemy menu in Arvantville, requiring Plume Pork ×2, Egg ×2, Flour ×1, and Moco Oil ×1. Meat Dish/R would also need to be retrieved from above the Sabnock chamber in the Entrance zone (requires Double Jump-kicking). After Pork Cutlet is first prepared, it will be sold at Dominique's supply post for 1,080G.

Plume Pork drops from Plume Parmas and Moco Oil drops from Moco Weeds, both found early in the Garden of Silence, and Flour and Egg can be bought at cheap prices at the start of the game. Alternatively, you can try to get the entire meal to drop directly from Plume Parma at a rare 1% drop rate. If you are not willing to get the meal through this grueling process of chance, then the only component that restricts the meal to roughly the one-third point through the game's run time is that the Meat Dish/R recipe book requires you to get the Double Jump shard in early Livre Ex Machina.

Usage[]

Pork Cutlet is a food consumable, restoring 270 HP whenever used and giving a permanent bonus of +1 STR and +4 CON when first eaten. It costs and restores 8% more than the High Potion, and because it is a meal, up to 99 of it can be carried at a time.

Both this meal's restorative value and its permanent stat increases are rather large for a meal made up of such plain components and able to be crafted so relatively early. There might be value in farming Plume Porks and Moco Oils and lightly paying for Eggs and Flour to amass a stockpile of Pork Cutlets for use as mid-battle restoratives up until you can start gathering a much larger stockpile of Fried Fish from blue chests much more easily. While directly buying a Pork Cutlet costs 1080G, buying two Eggs and a Flour costs a total of 400G, so you can supply the Plume Porks and Moco Oils yourself to more economically craft a meal that is stronger and can be carried in much larger stacks than the High Potion.

Pork Cutlet is also required for Susie's twelfth quest, "Breaded", which rewards you with a Dojigiri.

Pork Cutlets are even a component used for enhancing the following shard:
