The Poison Kukri is a Dagger in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
The Poison Kukri is a "thrust-motion" weapon with the anti-flier Thrust damage attribute, a +16 ATK boost, and the Poison attribute. It is gotten by "upgrading" a Kukri (itself crafted from Iron and Oak that can be gotten as early as Dian Cécht Cathedral) using two Poison items, which are most easily farmed from Poison Toads hopping along the upper-left of the Towers of Twin Dragons. Note that the base Kukri offers a higher +19 ATK boost; the ability to poison enemies on striking is intended to compensate for the power drop.
It is also possible to get completed Poison Kukris to drop directly from the Blood Bug enemy (4%), but that enemy is exclusive to the Inferno Cave roughly 80% into the game. On the other hand, if you are waiting until late in the game to enhance large portions of your Shard collection, there is value in dismantling these "free" Poison Kukris into one Kukri and two Poisons each, for 6 Alkahests each. That way, you can then "spend" the leftover Kukris on the middle ranks of the Dagger Expertise shard.
The Poison Kukri is not initially capable of either of the Dagger techniques, Assassinate and Surprise Gift. It should be noted that mastering Surprise Gift on another dagger so that it can be used with this weapon offers a unique advantage in that you can perform a long-range attack capable of Poisoning on hit.
