A Passive Shard (Yellow Shard) is a type of Shard in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
Passive Shards grant Miriam various passive enhancements, such as an increase in a certain stat or resistance toward a certain attack type. Only one Passive Shard can be equipped at a time. When a Passive Shard becomes Rank 9, a Skill Shard with the same effect is added to Miriam's inventory. Miriam also retains the Passive Shard, meaning the player can potentially double the standard effect.
Passive Shards don't consume any MP when active.
