The Mimic is a recurring enemy in the Bloodstained series.
Description[]
Mimics resemble ordinary European-styled coffers at first glance, allowing them to fool unsuspecting adventurers should get too close to it. When opened, a life-sized spider emerges and attacks its victim instantly before retreating back into its shelter for a brief few moments.
It drops the vaulable Money Is Power Passive Shard, which allows the player to sell items at an increased price. The first Mimic in the game is found in the leftmost large room of the Underground Sorcery Lab; however, trying to farm it can be a bit difficult, as to reach it the player will first have to deal with several Sidhes and a resilient Puppy that stand in the way. A much easier to farm Mimic is found alone in a small room of the Livre Ex Machina (only reachable after obtaining the Reflector Ray in the aforementioned Underground Sorcery Lab).
