Merchants are non-playable characters that appear in Classic II: Dominique's Curse, a sub-game of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. As the main vendors in the realm of Limbo, they sell wares such as consumable items, weapons, and Shards. Limbo has Merchants of three distinct species:

  • Deathtraps: These run stores in the towns of Goetia, Theurgia, Paulina, Almadel, and Notoria. Most weapon upgrades and basic Shards are bought from Deathtraps. They are only open for business during the New Moon; during the Dead Moon, they vanish while most of the surrounding demons turn hostile.
  • Mimics: These are found in Golgotha, the River of Woe, and the ruined town of Lemegeton. All three sell advanced Shards in exchange for weaker ones. After this exchange is made with them, the weaker Shard can be bought back without giving up the stronger one. These are open for business during both the New Moon and the Dead Moon, though the one in the River of Woe is only reachable during the New Moon.
  • IGA: In a hidden room near the end of the Pandemonium, IGA (wearing his boss attire) can be found as a friendly Merchant. He sells only consumable items.

On the map of Limbo, Merchants (except for IGA) are marked with a Coin because they only accept Coins as payment. It is possible to exchange Remains for Coin by visiting a Groundskeeper, a defeated Hunter demon who has relocated to a town, or IGA.
