Macaroni & Cheese is a Food item in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Availability[]
Macaroni & Cheese is prepared through Johannes' alchemy menu in Arvantville, requiring Pasta ×3, Moco Leek ×1, Cheese ×1, and White Sauce ×1. Pasta is bought at Dominique's shop as soon as you craft one of those from three cheap store-bought ingredients: Flour ×1, Egg ×1, and Halite ×1. Cheese is randomly dropped by Giant Rats (12%), and Moco Leek is randomly dropped by Moco Weeds (12%) early in Garden of Silence.
The last ingredient, White Sauce, becomes sold for 500G once you craft at least one of that using Flour ×1, Halite ×1, Butter ×1, and Beast Milk ×1; the first two component ingredients are the same store-bought ingredients as what goes into the pasta, and the Butter will become available for purchase once you craft that from Halite ×1 and Milk ×1. The Beast Milk is the one ingredient involved in all of this that limits when the Macaroni Gratin can first be prepared, since it is dropped by Zagans (8%) in the later, post-Craftwork region of the Garden of Silence.
In other words, this meal is a virtual duplicate of the Macaroni Gratin, requiring all of the exact same ingredients save for an additional Pasta ×1. If you can make one of these meals, you can make both, and you can just buy the second White Sauce when making the second Macaroni meal.
Once one Macaroni & Cheese has been prepared, duplicates of it can be bought for 1,080G.
Usage[]
Macaroni & Cheese is a food consumable restoring 270 HP whenever used and giving a permanent bonus of +15 maximum MP when first eaten. It is 108% as expensive and potent as the High Potion, but up to 99 of it can be carried at a time.
On top of requiring the exact same ingredients as the Macaroni Gratin (besides one extra unit of the Pasta ingredient), the Macaroni & Cheese gives the exact same MP bonus, which means you can create both meals at the same time for two helpings of the +15 Max MP boost by the time you reach the east end of the Garden of Silence zone. Unlike the Gratin, this meal is not submitted to Susie for one of her quests.
