Macaron is an enemy in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
One of the three horned giant cats (along with Nyabon and Kamikaze), now bearing black fur with golden horns and golden-colored stripes around its green eyes. It shares basic attacks with its other feline counterparts, although what sets Macaron apart is its ability to cast Toxic Storm, which just as its name implies, summons a dangerous whirlwind that poisons the player on contact, so it is a good idea to bring a few Mithridates when fighting this enemy.
Macaron will likely be notably resilient the first time the player encounters it (400 HP), so it is a matter to try to defeat it quickly before it can cast Toxic Storm, or get out of its way once it does. The first Macaron is encountered in the Underground Sorcery Lab, in the room that is opposite to Bathin's boss room. The ledge that leads to this room can be first reached by double jumping on Buer/Bu-chan in midair to save the distance. Besides obtaining a good amount of EXP for defeating Macaron (326 EXP), this room contains the Damascus Equipment/R, as well as a breakable wall on the right that leads to a secret room with an HP Max Up and a Shortcut shard.
