Lemegeton is a location in Classic II: Dominique's Curse. It is the sixth and last town encountered in the game. It is unique among the towns of Limbo in that it has suffered an unspecified disaster[1] that left it empty of its demonic inhabitants except for a lonely Merchant.

Description[]

This town's layout is identical to that of Goetia, save for a pair of city walls that separate the town from the surrounding volcanic landscape. It lies in a state of decay following the disaster that wiped out almost all of its population, but like Goetia, it features no environmental hazards except for a shallow pool of water in the same place as in that town. The local Temple is functional but contains no item.

The only remaining inhabitant of Lemegeton is a Merchant who is staying in an attic equivalent to the apprentice Groundskeeper's spot in Goetia. This Merchant sells Dominique the Dantalion sub-weapon in exchange for the Bone Arc. After the purchase has been made, it is possible to buy back the Bone Arc from the same Merchant without giving up the Dantalion. He differs from all other town Merchants in that he is not a Deathtrap; he is instead a Mimic like the Merchants who roam field areas. Like the field Merchants, he is open for business during both the New Moon and the Dead Moon, in contrast to the Deathtrap Merchants who vanish during the Dead Moon. Despite these differences, he is marked with the same Coin symbol on the world map as all other town Merchants.

Lemegeton has no background music except for a quiet wind-like sound. This ambience keeps playing during both of the Moon's phases.
