Appearances[]

Ritual of the Night[]

Lamashtus can be viewed as stronger variants of the Lilis, which have the same body shape and similar movement patterns. Lamashtus mostly attack using whips as opposed to the unarmed kicks that Lilis rely on.

Classic II: Dominique's Curse[]

Lamashtus are among the "civilized" demons that live in the towns of Paulina, Almadel, and Notoria. Dominique Baldwin can speak to them for information or advice. During the Dead Moon, Lamashtus actively chase Dominique between floors and attack her with jumping kicks. They chase her more aggressively than the Lilis from earlier towns.

Dialogue[]

The following quotes are spoken by different Lamashtus in Classic II: Dominique's Curse. Red text is presented as such by the True Sight.

Paulina
  • "You humans are so weak you can't even breathe underwater! Too bad there's no shard to fix that! Ha ha!" (followed by audible laughter)
  • "Sometimes I catch the scent of a relic, or shiny treasure... but it leads head-first into a wall! I must be imagining it..." (followed by laughter)
    • She is probably not imagining it. Many useful items are indeed hidden in walls and can be uncovered with the Block Breaker.
Almadel
  • "Merchants who journey into the field sell better shards, but they often require one of yours in exchange..."
  • "I often pass through the Wood of Sacrifice. Thankfully, there aren't any Hunters near there. They make me so nervous..." (followed by laughter)
    • There are no Hunters in the Wood of Sacrifice itself, but the neighboring Avernus Grove contains one: the Silver Wolfman.
  • "I've heard of a merchant who wanders a battleground far to the east, but he only shows up if you bring your own bag." (followed by laughter)
    • The "battleground" spoken of here is the cemetery of Golgotha. Aside from the inaccurate place description, this information is true.
Notoria
  • "I once saw a human create platforms out of thin air. Another passed through solid rock... Your realm must be a terrifying place."
