Bloodstained Wiki

A murderous barber turned demonic. He's seeking pretty women to scissor.
~ Description from Ritual of the Night

The Killer Barber is a recurring enemy in the Bloodstained series.

Description[]

The Killer Barber has the physique of a human male with red eyes, green skin, black hair, and an ever-grinning expression. He his dressed mostly in very dark blue, wearing a capotain hat, long-sleeved jacket and exaggerated puffed-out breeches, but wears spiked boots with tall heels. From each sleeve extends a long pair of scissors. From what Todd says, it seems as though they may have a mind of their own.

Appearances[]

Ritual of the Night[]

The Killer Barber is an agile enemy. One of his attacks involves running up to the player and delivering a quick slash. The other requires the Killer Barber to be near a ceiling, in which he jumps up and sticks his scissors into it and climbs along the ceiling until he is directly above the player. He then jumps down and delivers a quick series of strikes.

He rarely drops the Rhava Búral sword, which one is required to complete one of Abigail's quests, awarding the Toy Shoes upon completion. He also drops the Dagger Expertise Passive Shard, useful to players who prefer usage of these types of weapons.

Curse of the Moon[]

Killer Barbers appear in Curse of The Moon as well, though more common is their variant, the Scissor Maniac. They look different, but function the same, appearing briefly, snapping their scissors, then dashing forward to deal damage. They typically take two hits to destroy.

A unique Killer Barber is spawned by Valefar during his boss battle. Other than being gold, it does not behave differently.

Curse of the Moon 2[]

Scissor Maniacs appear in Curse of The Moon 2. They function identically to their appearance in Curse of The Moon.
