Katanas are a class of weapons in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2. Some special katanas in Curse of the Moon 2 also acts as key items needed to progress through the story.

Curse of the Moon 2[]
Curse of the Moon 2 allows Zangetsu to find and use a few different Katanas besides his trusty Zangetsuto, changing his playstyle in a few ways.
- Soul Eraser - A wicked blade that destroys souls, with no regard if they are good or evil.
- Zanmato - A virtuous blade that cuts down evil, while leaving the innocent unharmed.
- Daizangetsuto - The Zangetsuto, reforged with Alchemy by Alfred in a form so strong, it can cut the very moon in twain.
