Kamikaze is an enemy in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
Kamikaze mostly shares its appearance with a typical white cat with green eyes. However, its size, along with its large, bat-like ears and purple, iridescent horns set it apart from regular cats. In addition, Kamikaze appears to be halfway through a portal, with its upper half reaching through and its lower half still in said portal.
Kamikaze is an immobile enemy, so moving out of its line of sight will stop it from attacking. It has two attacks. One is a swipe, telegraphed by it hissing and lifting its paw into the air. The other is a far reaching wind attack, in which it creates a rune which will track the player's location before launching a line of wind at where they were previously.
Trivia[]
- Kamikaze's Archives entry used to display the model and description of Macaron. This was fixed in following revisions of the game.
- The word kamikaze originates from the Japanese language and is usually translated as "divine wind". Its characteristic attack, Tornado Slicer, is likely a reference to this, as it unleashes a tornado at enemies.
- Kamikaze is based on the late pet of one of the Kickstarter backers.
