The Japanesque Robe is a Body Armor in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. It is part of the paid DLC "Japanesque Cosmetic Pack", available from Update v.1.5.
Description[]
The Japanesque Robe gives DEF +5 and CON +2, making it the most protective of all the Body Armors included in Update v.1.5, and it can be equipped from the very beginning of the game as it is already included within the player's inventory from the start.[1] Due to this, it can be a good Body Armor to wear, whether it is for exploring, as well as for fighting bosses, especially if the player mainly favors survivability over damage output. However, unlike most other armors in the game, the Japanesque Robe can be crafted to up to five more advanced versions of it, each stronger than the last, in order to keep its stats relatively steady when their required Materials first come available to the player. Noteworthy is that the Japanesque Robe will keep on raising the DEF and CON stats with most upgrades, but also eventually develop MND defense, as well as resistances to Slash and Strike, still making it a good option to players that mainly rely on their character's resilience.

- Wearing the Japanesque Robe along with the rest of the "Japanesque" set (Japanesque Wig, Usagi Mask and Sarashi) will make the HUD status bar profile an image of Miriam wearing a Japanesque hair ornament, with embers of flames rising from the profile image and HP bar, and the roses around the MP bar replaced with single color orange and red roses.
