| ~ Description from Ritual of the Night |
The Ice Elemental is an enemy in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
The Ice Elemental is the fifth and strongest of the five "Elemental" enemies in the game. A strange gem-like figure with smaller crystals spinning around it. It floats around the room and eventually stops in order to summon a shard of ice that will drop over the player.
Like all the other Elementals, it flies a certain distance –either long or short– strictly in a straight line and then makes a brief stop to either fly to another location or perform an attack. Every time it stops, it has a chance to target the player for its next flight; it does this by actually targeting the direction the player is currently heading toward, which is the reason of its high success rate.
Also, like all the other Elementals, it drops the Passive Shard that gives resistance against its own element, in this case Resist Ice. And likewise, it drops precisely the Material that is used to enhance it, in this case the Sapphire, and at a relatively high rate of 12.00%.
Ice Elementals are mainly encountered in the Glacial Tomb and are notably resilient, usually requiring at least two powerful attacks to put down, even at Level 99. They are the best source of Diamonds in the game (at 6.00% drop rate), and also drop the rare Alexandrite (2.00%). A very easy to farm Ice Elemental spawn just outside this area's Warp Room.
Trivia[]
- Like all the other Elementals, the Ice Elemental's element is related to the area it is mainly encountered in, in this case the Glacial Tomb, an icy underground cavern.
