The Hound Vest is a Body Armor in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
The Hound Vest is an all-around good Body Armor and one of the few armors in the game that boost STR (+3). It is somewhat similar to the Mantua in regard to stats, although it favors STR instead of INT, so it is more useful for standard melee combat and for fighting bosses. It can be crafted by spending Leonine Pelt ×3, which can be farmed from Buers in many early areas of the game.
Additionally, the Hound Vest is eventually required to complete Abigail's "In Memory of Alba" quest (earning you a Cowboy Hat) and progress through her questline, so it is advisable to craft this armor even if the player doesn't plan to wear it.
