The Hellhound is a recurring enemy in the Bloodstained series.
Description[]
A large hound completely engulfed in flames, and a stronger version of the Gieremund. It is only found in the Inferno Cave, appearing in a couple of rooms of that area. It attacks by charging madly toward the player and may pounce at them while doing so. It is notably resilient and it may take many hits before it is put down. If hit enough, it may get knocked back and down, but quickly stand up again and resume its charge. As expected from an enemy of these characteristics, it is weak against Ice based attacks. It is often encountered among groups of other enemies, shielding them from the player's attacks.
