Hearts are common recurring items that are collected in Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon. They can either be obtained through broken lanterns, defeated enemies, or destroyed stone walls that are found throughout each stage. A Small Heart is able to restore a selected character's health by two units, while a Large Heart is able to restore six units.

- Hearts are common and iconic items in the Castlevania series, where they also usually appear either as Small or Large Hearts, and are also obtained by destroying candles and defeating enemies. However, in the Castlevania games, they are generally used to fuel sub-weapons instead than for replenishing HP (although there are some rare instances where they do).
