Hall of Termination is a location in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. It is the site of the boss battle with Gebel, which is presented as an early "final battle" that leads to the earliest, "bad" ending. Thoroughly exploring the rest of the map and using the right item at the right point during the battle, however, will enact a continuation of the game leading to the true finale.
Progression[]
Hall of Termination is a fairly compact zone that the player will continue onto after exploring the adjacent Livre Ex Machina zone's upper regions, which are unlocked by winning the Reflector Ray shard in the Underground Sorcery Lab. While exploring, you can find the Ultimate Healing Item/R, Fine Equipment/R, and Hair Apparent XI recipe books. The exit at the west end of the zone leads into an enclosed part of the upper reaches of Dian Cécht Cathedral that you cannot get out of yet, though you can carefully Double Jump kick off the Archdemon to get to a red chest containing money.
Just outside and above the warp room, you can break open a ceiling to find a treasure room that includes Celeste's Key, which opens up a gameplay-irrelevant room back in Livre Ex Machina. More importantly, you can then break open the left wall to find a portrait of Koji Igarashi and a glowing red bookcase, which transports you to the optional 8-bit Nightmare zone. Completing that for the first time gets you one unit of the material named after it.
At the top of the "final stairwell" in the 2x3 room is a room leading right into the boss battle with Gebel. Defeating him here by traditional means will cause a "bad ending", and getting the good ending requires playing through the entirety of the remaining castle map, which begins by using Reflector Ray to explore the upper reaches of Dian Cécht Cathedral. During your playthrough of this swath of the game, you will gain the Invert skill shard, which lets you reach the far upper-left corner of the final stairwell room back in this zone to find Legendary Equipment/R.
Once you win the Zangetsuto katana in the late-game Oriental Sorcery Lab, you can initiate the Gebel boss fight and pass it the "correct" way with it equipped. Bring his health very close to zero but refrain from actually killing him, and the moon in the background will eventually turn blood red; slice it apart with the Zangetsuto to initiate a cutscene and end the battle. Afterward, find the blood-red moon again in the Garden of Silence and slice it again with the katana to create the portal to the Den of Behemoths, one of the two final zones.
One of the treasure chests in the Den of Behemoths contains the Millionaire's Key, which opens the extra boss door east of the Hall of Termination's upper save point, letting you fight the optional miniboss Millionaire's Bane.

After beating both Dominique and Bael, the player will return to the staircase room. Upon reaching the boss door, the player will fight Miriam.
Bloodless Mode[]
This area contains relatively few upgrades for Bloodless, but it is nonetheless important for progression. She can reach it very early in a playthrough by going through the Livre Ex Machina and defeating the Abyssal Guardian, and later on she can also reach it from the Dian Cécht Cathedral using the Blood of Flight. The area contains few obstacles for her regardless of what path she takes through it.
Bloodless can kill Gebel through any method at any point in a playthrough, as he is only one of the several bosses that she must defeat to open the portal to the Den of Behemoths. Like Miriam, she can also optionally access the 8-bit Nightmare from this area to acquire one of two instances of the Scarlet Thrust.
Blood Shards[]
- Blood of Fortune × 1
- Blood of Tenacity × 1
