Gusion is an enemy in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon.
Description[]
Gusion is an ape with blue skin and black fur who wears what appears to be a purple turban on its head from which a single horn protrudes. It attacks more fiercely than its lower ranked counterpart, the Simian, and has a notable amount of HP for an enemy of these characteristics.
It mainly attacks by erratically hopping around, out of the player's reach, and then unexpectedly performs a big leap in an attempt to land over the enemy. It can also cling onto walls and is usually encountered in numbers. Same as the Simian, its small size is also one of its advantages, as it, combined with its high mobility, can make it hard to target.
It drops the Red Bean, an item required to prepare the Red Bean Paste which will surely become handy during Susie's quests.
It also drops the Pickpocket shard, a passive shard that allows to sometimes steal items from enemies while attacking them, in addition to their normal drops.
Lindsay's quest, "Avenge the death of Mitta!", requires you to slay 13 Gusions and rewards you with 1 Crimsonite.
