The Guillotine Umbrella is a Blood Shard and attack used by Bloodless in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
By default, Bloodless can use her Red Umbrella to float for a limited time in mid-air while blocking attacks from above. Once she has acquired the Guillotine Umbrella, the umbrella begins to spin during an Umbrella Float, turning it into a weapon akin to a buzzsaw complete with a subtle sound effect.
The Guillotine Umbrella is one of the most effective ways to fight enemies above Bloodless (such as flying or giant ones), although it requires her to float very close to the enemies in question. The attack becomes even more potent when combined with the Wind Demon's Blood, which allows her to spend a long time floating under an enemy.
Availability[]
In Bloodless Mode in Ritual of the Night, the Guillotine Umbrella is acquired as an upgrade from a Blood Shard in Arvantville. It is specifically found next to Dominique's abandoned study and photograph booth.
The Guillotine Umbrella is unavailable in Boss Revenge Mode and Bloodless does not use it as a non-playable boss, though in the latter case, touching her umbrella deals contact damage regardless.
