Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night[]
This game has featured many glitches and bugs during its long development time; many of these were addressed and fixed along the many Updates that were periodically released for the game. However, several glitches were left in the game after its final Update v.1.6. The following is a partial list of glitches and bugs still found in the game:
- Page-scrolling through lists skips the lowest/top item.
- Map markers don't display correctly on the mini-map. Opening the main map temporarily fixes this issue.
- In the Galleon Minerva, the game often crashes when transitioning from the room near the last Save Room to the raining outdoors area on the left with the last Dullahammer.
- Harry's plants sometimes don't correctly represent their current growth state.
- After the final Update v.1.6, costume colors may change when cycling through Shortcuts. This can be fixed by exiting to the title screen and continuing the game, although it may trigger again if cycling through the shortcuts once more. Alternatively, sometimes this can be temporarily fixed in real-time by cycling through the different shortcuts until the proper colors set again. This glitch was possibly introduced with the addition of the various Cosmetic Packs to the game, and it seems this only happens when cycling through shortcuts that include garments of said packs (e.g.: Miri Dress, Vampiric Skinsuit, Japanesque Robe, etc.).
- Rarely, the portal where a familiar comes out from will remain open in place on the screen (even after entering another room and returning to the previous one).
- In the exterior areas of the Towers of Twin Dragons, enemy drops sometimes cannot be picked up.
- The Detective Eye's field circle sometimes doesn't display.
- Miriam's model colors sometimes change on the pause menu. This can be fixed by exiting to the title screen and continuing the game.
- This color change always happens while underwater.
