Gebel's Glasses are an Accessory in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
A memento Gebel gave to Johannes presumably before the former became too afflicted with the Crystal Curse. Gebel's Glasses are a special/secret Accessory that can only be obtained after collecting all the Shards in the game and also after having defeated Orlok Dracule in the Glacial Tomb. As such, it can only be obtained by the end of a normal playthrough, and is mostly intended for a New Game+ and to let the player rush through the game without many difficulties.
Wearing Gebel's Glasses will grant Miriam infinite MP, allowing her to use any and all Shards without limits and to use very powerful spells with impunity. If in addition to this, the player equips proper weapons and gear, Miriam can be turned into an almost unstoppable force.
Availability[]
- Arvantville: Attainable only after collecting 100% of the non-DLC Shards in the game and after defeating Orlok Dracule in the Glacial Tomb. Afterward, a chest will appear in Johannes's laboratory in Arvantville containing the glasses.
Trivia[]
- The Gebel's Glasses give the same infinite MP effect than the Chaos Ring from Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow and Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, which Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night seems to borrow its mechanics from with the Souls/Shards collecting system. And like those two games, the Gebel's Glasses/Chaos Ring are only acquired after having collected every Shard/Soul in the game.
