| ~ Description from Ritual of the Night |
Gamigin is an enemy in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
A blue-furred demon wild horse with a scruffy white mane and tail. Gamigin is initially found stationary in the rooms it appears in, but when the player approaches a certain distance it will start galloping toward them; whether it succeeded on bumping on them or not, once Gamigin arrives at the player's vicinity, it will turn around and perform a double kick with both hind legs. On the other hand, likely due to the perceived idea of being a mountable horse, it is also possible to stand on Gamigin's back without sustaining damage.
Gamigin will likely be notably resilient the first times the player encounters it along the bridges that connect the towers of the upper section of the Dian Cécht Cathedral. If the player isn't able to defeat it during its initial charge, then it is advised to get out of its way and try to damage it again once it returns. Only one Gamigin appears in the rooms they are encountered in, usually along other enemies like Lance Armors, Lerajes and Simians.
Among Gamigin's drops are the Hellhorse Hoof and the Hellhorse Mane, both Materials which are used to enhance the Accelerator shard (as well as crafting the Vampiric Skinsuit to Rank 3). While an easy-to-farm Gamigin appears alone in one of the bridges of the Dian Cécht Cathedral, an even easier to farm one can be found in the secret ceiling room of the Hall of Termination that leads to the 8-bit Nightmare level, as there are both a Save Room and a Warp Room nearby.
Two Gamigins are the only enemies from the main game that appear in the Dead Lands secret stage. Likewise, a Gamigin makes a guest appearance as one of the mounts in the Dead Lands setting of Kingdom Two Crowns. This particular Gamigin is almost unique as it has a single horn on its forehead. The only other "unicorn" Gamigin is the one that pulls the Coachman's carriage in the Garden of Silence. This could hint that only unicorned Gamigins are tamable, although this is just speculation.

Trivia[]
- Gamigin is a demon described in demonological grimoires such as The Lesser Key of Solomon and Johann Weyer's Pseudomonarchia Daemonum. Both works describe him as a marquis who initially takes the form of a small horse before transforming into a hoarse-voiced human. The Lesser Key of Solomon merely leaves his duties at teaching liberal arts and giving accounts of souls that died in sin.
- The "horse" that pulls the Coachman's carriage in the Garden of Silence is a unicorn variant of Gamigin.
