Forneus in Garlic is a food consumable restoring 320 HP whenever used and giving a permanent bonus of INT +2, CON +1, and EXP Gain +1.00% when first eaten. It is 28% more powerful and expensive than the High Potion, and as a meal, you can carry up to 99 of it.

Forneus in Garlic is prepared through Johannes's alchemy menu in Arvantville, requiring Garlic ×1, Butter ×1, Forneus Filet ×1, and Flour ×1, and also requiring Fish Dish/R to have been collected in the Forbidden Underground Waterway with the help of the Double Jump.
Flour is bought cheap at Dominique's supply post, and so will the Butter once that has been prepared at least once for Milk ×1 and Halite ×1. Garlic is exclusive to the self-refilling blue chests in the part of the Livre Ex Machina that can only be reached later in the game with the Reflector Ray shard.
Since the last ingredient, Forneus Filet, drops from Forneus (8.00%), this recipe can only be prepared over halfway through the game. Even if you can slay Forneus with remote attacks earlier in the game, any Forneus Filet they drop underneath themselves in the watery depths can only be reached with at least the Aqua Stream shard dropped by Deeseamas in the part of the Waterway zone reached by casting the Blood Steal shard dropped by Bloodless.
Once one Forneus in Garlic has been prepared, duplicates of it can be purchased for 1,280G.
